A family business is delighted to have scooped five awards at a national ice cream competition.

Auberge du Chocolat, in Chess Business Park, Moor Road, Chesham, won five awards at the 2015 Ice Cream Alliance National Ice Cream Competition, winning diplomas in the Dairy Ice Cream Artisan Class, Ice Cream Open Class (for Stem Ginger with a splash of lime), Banoffee ice Cream, Chocolate ice cream and Raspberry Frozen Yogurt sections.

All the ice creams were produced by the business in Chesham and are for sale at its Chesham shop and its store in Packhorse Road, Gerrards Cross.

Auberge managing director Ian Scott said: “We’re delighted to have received another five ice cream awards across a range of classes and flavours. We were especially pleased that the raspberry frozen yoghurt made by our new 18-year-old apprentice Amy Nash, from Chesham, won an award.

“Chocolate and ice cream are our twin passions and we want to produce the best we can so we only use quality ingredients such as full milk and double cream in our ice cream.”

The business has now won more than 70 national and international awards for its chocolate and ice cream products.
